#Future of Congress in Kerala.
Shashi Tharoor, once seen as a strong leader within the Congress Party, now seems to be drifting away. His regular public statements often sound like sharp criticisms of his own party.
In Kerala, the Congress party is facing serious trouble, especially due to its growing closeness with the CPM under the INDI alliance. While leftist organizations like SFI and DYFI are allowed to protest freely and even get support from the police, the Congress’s own youth wings like KSU and Youth Congress are being attacked and silenced. This unfair treatment is creating deep frustration among Congress workers on the ground.
If this situation continues, the Congress party in Kerala could face a major collapse. The chance of winning the 2026 Assembly election is already at risk. Without strong leadership and a clear stand against the misuse of power by its own alliance partners, Congress may lose the trust of its loyal supporters.
If they lose in 2026, it might be the final blow from which the party may never recover in Kerala. The leadership must act fast to correct this path, or the future of Congress in the state looks very bleak
