Rapistan

One wonders to see that women ruled Indian states are more vulnerable to rape crimes than other Indian states.  Latest incident is from Purachi Thalaivi  Jayalalithaa ruled Tamil Nadu where a girl was allegedly raped by a ten-member gang. And this is amidst the national outcry over the gang rape of a girl in Sheela Dixit ruled Delhi. Presumably the ten member gang which raped the TN girl was in Siberian forests cut off from whole world when the country is  protesting against the Delhi gang rape.

The rape incidents are quite ironic in a country where women are respected and even worshiped.   Corruption, lack of education, failure of law and order, huge sale of liquors and degradation of moral values are the root causes of all such disasters.

The fraudsters are seen unafraid of the punishment for a crime.  Though not possible for a total  check  harsh punishment should reduce recurrence of sex crimes. What we need is an effective and quick criminal justice procedure to punish the criminals. The police force will be equipped with modern scientific equipment and those criminals now working in the force should be identified and removed.

If not able to restrict the sex related crimes  then it would be better to rename the country as Rapistan instead of Hindustan.
