Doomsday

The very bad news pouring from Delhi and elsewhere persuades me to wish for an immediate Doomsday. All the culprits of the Delhi rape case should be immediately hanged to avoid further bloodshed relating the incident. It is not the people but the media is to take restraint by not airing news in an exaggerated proportion. Everybody should remember that along with girl’s life the policeman’s life is also precious.

For quite long the country’s capital is not a safe place for women as many have bad experience in city buses and streets. The present agitation in Delhi is a shame on all political parties, not naming one, as they have no care towards such rape victims. Otherwise they would have framed laws protecting women by this time. Interestingly it is some offenders involved in sexual abuse cases and escaped from punishment by hook or crook, are arguing in law making houses for the hapless victim.

Some women organizations calling for a ‘women bandh’ in schools, colleges, offices, work places and houses is all rubbish. Do not set women against men and vice versa. Never deny opportunity of an elderly man’s humble desire to call a little girl sweetly and never throw away the gift he brought for the girl.
