It is a novel gesture by Speaker G Karthikeyan permitting
the Members of Kerala Legislative Assembly to use laptop and iPad in the House.
Let us hope that the new facility would help improve the performance of the
members in the House. And if they use these gadgets for variety purpose as done
by the members of the Karnataka Assembly, then never allow that news to leak
out from the house.
Moreover, those seventy plus members who are unable to
differentiate iPad and sanitary pad should be given awareness class to avoid further
embarrassment. Nevertheless, more interesting stories are expected from the
house about the use of laptop and tablet because we have past story of a
minister keeping his clothes in a brand new refrigerator.
