Disservice by the Opposition

#Disservice by the Opposition
The deliberate and uncooperative attitude of the opposition parties throughout this parliamentary session is a serious disservice to democracy and the national interest. By choosing political obstruction over constructive discussion, they have repeatedly disrupted parliamentary proceedings and prevented meaningful legislative work.

Valuable parliamentary time, funded by taxpayers, has been lost because of this persistent obstruction. Instead of focusing on substantive public issues and presenting constructive policy alternatives, the opposition has often resorted to confrontation and disruption. As a result, important legislative business has been delayed and several matters of national importance have suffered. Such continued obstruction weakens public confidence in Parliament and its democratic functioning.

It also reflects a regrettable disregard for the expectations of citizens who look to Parliament to debate issues and find solutions to the country's most pressing challenges.
