The security officers at John Kennedy Airport in US lack general knowledge. They didn’t know Former President of India and internationally acclaimed scientist Dr A P J Abdul Kalam. That is why Kalam was subjected to frisking for the second time at the Airport. US security officials owe an apology with immediate effect. The officials taking Kalam’s jacket and shoes to check for explosives is an outrageous act and should be condemned.
However the Indian counter parts planning a retaliatory action against US dignitaries is unwarranted. ‘An eye for an eye’ is not an Indian practice. The US security personnel’s act is not probably with knowledge of US higher-ups.
