ഈ പരാജയം രാഷ്ട്രീയ മണ്ഡല ങ്ങളിലെ  ഗുരുതരമായ ജീർണതയാണ് സൂചിപ്പിക്കുന്നത്. ഇവിടെ അധികാരം സാധാരണക്കാരൻ്റെ സംരക്ഷണത്തിനല്ല, മറിച്ച് ഭരിക്കുന്നവരുടെ തെറ്റുകളെ മറച്ചുവെക്കുന്നതിനും അവരെ സംരക്ഷിക്കുന്നതിനുമാണ്. 

രാഷ്ട്രീയ അധികാരം നീതിയുടെ വാഹനം എന്നതിലുപരി അടിച്ചമർത്തലിൻ്റെ ഉപകരണമായി മാറുമ്പോൾ, ഒരു സ്വതന്ത്ര ജുഡീഷ്യറിയിൽ പ്രതീക്ഷകൾ അർപ്പിക്കുകയല്ലാതെ ജനങ്ങൾക്ക് മറ്റ് മാർഗമില്ല. രാഷ്ട്രീയ സമ്മർദ്ദങ്ങൾക്കെതിരെ ഉറച്ചുനിൽക്കുകയും നീതിയെ അഴിമതിയുടെ ചെളിക്കുണ്ടിൽ കുഴിച്ചുമൂടാതിരിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തുകൊണ്ട് കോടതി ജനങ്ങളുടെ വിശ്വാസം  പുനഃസ്ഥാപിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

 അധികാരത്തിലിരിക്കുന്നവർ തങ്ങളുടെ സ്വാധീനം ഉപയോഗിച്ച് നിയമ നിർവ്വഹണ ഏജൻസികളെ കൈകാര്യം ചെയ്യാനും സത്യത്തെ വളച്ചൊടിക്കാനും ആസൂത്രിതമായി ശ്രമിക്കുമ്പോൾ ജുഡീഷ്യറി ജനങ്ങളുടെ പ്രതീക്ഷയ്കക്കൊത്തു ഉയരുന്നത് വലിയ ആശ്വാസമാണ്

പോലീസിൻ്റെയും മന്ത്രിസഭയുടെയും നഗ്നമായ പരാജയങ്ങൾ രാഷ്ട്രീയ അഴിമതി കേരളത്തിൽ എത്രമാത്രം ആഴത്തിൽ വേരൂന്നിയിരിക്കുന്നുവെന്ന് വ്യക്തമാക്കുന്നു.

It is a glaring reminder of how the legislature and police, institutions that are supposed to safeguard justice, have repeatedly failed in their duties. This failure reflects a deeper rot in the political apparatus, where power is wielded not for the protection of the common man, but for shielding the privileged and their wrongdoings. 

When the political authority becomes a tool of oppression rather than a vehicle of justice, the people are left with no choice but to place their hopes in an independent judiciary. In this case, the court has restored some of that faith, standing firm against political pressures and ensuring that justice is not buried under layers of corruption.

it is to be stated that those in power have systematically undermined the rule of law, using their influence to manipulate law enforcement agencies and distort the truth. The blatant failures of the police and legislature highlight how deeply entrenched political corruption has become.

This delay suggests either a lack of urgency or incompetence in executing their duties, particularly in a case that raises significant public concerns about justice and accountability. 

The failure to act decisively erodes public trust in the police force, casting doubt on their commitment to upholding the law without bias. Such lapses tarnish the reputation of the Kerala police, who are expected to serve and protect impartially.

Iran's persistent threats and aggression toward Israel are unprovoked and dangerous. It escalates tensions in a region already fraught with instability.

 Iran’s support for militant groups like Hezbollah and Hamas, along with its inflammatory rhetoric, fuels violence and undermines the prospects for peace. By stoking conflict, Iran is irresponsibly endangering the lives of civilians on all sides, pushing the region towards further chaos. 

Rather than engaging in constructive dialogue or diplomatic efforts, Iran continues to support proxies that destabilize Israel’s security and promote hostility.

Furthermore, Iran’s actions risk severe consequences for its own stability and international standing. By provoking conflict with Israel, Iran isolates itself diplomatically and economically, as global opinion increasingly condemns its role in fueling violence. 

Iran should cease its belligerent posturing and halt the flow of weapons and support to terrorist groups. War and aggression will only lead to more devastation, suffering, and international backlash. 

A shift towards diplomacy and peace is essential if Iran wishes to avoid the detrimental effects of continued hostility.

On one hand, they lock arms in the Assembly, heroically opposing the Central government under the same flag of the IND-IA front. On the other hand, Congress is out there announcing bounty hunts for CPM leaders like they're starring in a political version of "Where's PP?"! 

It's like watching frenemies sharing a cup of tea while throwing pies at each other. 

As for the one lakh reward? Forget about it—seems like even the most loyal Congress worker wouldn’t dare claim that prize. After all, they might need each other for the next Assembly photo op!

Despite the severity of the case, the police have failed to bring a key figure under investigation, raising serious concerns about the effectiveness of criminal investigations in Kerala. 

This situation also reflects poorly on the leadership of the Minister in charge of police, none other than the Chief Minister himself. His failure to ensure accountability and proper oversight in such a sensitive case only deepens the public's mistrust in the state's law enforcement machinery and its commitment to justice. 

This dereliction of duty demands immediate attention and rectification to restore credibility.

Prioritizing the financial security of top officials while neglecting those who serve in critical, grassroots roles undermines the principles of equality and justice in public administration. 

Anganwadi teachers play a crucial role in child development, and social security pensions are often the only source of income for the elderly. Denying them timely payments not only deepens social inequities but also erodes trust in government. 

A prompt correction is essential to ensure that all citizens, particularly the vulnerable, are treated with fairness and dignity.

As a responsible officer with two daughters, the idea that his death could be a suicide seems improbable to many. There is widespread suspicion that foul play may be involved, making it crucial for a thorough and unbiased investigation. Only a comprehensive inquiry by a central agency, free from local influences, can ensure that the truth behind this tragedy is uncovered.

The people of Kerala have lost faith in the ability of the state police to conduct an impartial investigation in cases of this magnitude. The public believes that a state-led inquiry would lead nowhere, leaving crucial aspects unexplored. Given the sensitivity of the matter and its potential links to high-profile figures and events, it is imperative that the Central Government steps in and initiates a transparent investigation. 

An inquiry by a central agency like the CBI would restore public trust and ensure that justice is served in this deeply concerning case.

Kerala Governor summons chief secretary, police chief over CM’s controversial interview. But Kerala CM Says

Governor has no power to summon DGP, chief secretary, 

In fact Governor of Kerala has the power to summon the Chief Secretary and the Director General of Police (DGP) under Article 167 of the Constitution of India. This article states that the Governor shall ensure that the acts of the State Government are done in accordance with the law. If the Governor feels that the law and order situation in the state is not being adequately addressed, he can summon the Chief Secretary and the DGP to take stock of the situation and to direct them to take necessary action.

The precedence In this case is the former Kerala Governor P Sathasivam  summoning the Chief Minister and the State Police Chief in July 2017.  The Governor was clearly exercising his powers under Article 167. The Governor was concerned about the law and order situation and he wanted to ensure that the State Government was taking appropriate action to address the situation. The Chief Minister then  assured the Governor that law breakers would be sternly dealt with, and the Governor was satisfied with the assurance.

So in the present  context the Governor is correct  and the chief minister is in the wrong path.

Anvar, a figure with a controversial background and numerous allegations of criminal activity, should not be granted such a platform to air personal grievances. It raises serious questions about the responsibility of media outlets when they prioritize sensational narratives over balanced reporting. 

While politicians are often criticized for their actions, the media's role should be to scrutinize all voices equally, rather than giving undue prominence to an individual with a questionable reputation.

Moreover, this disproportionate coverage contrasts sharply with how these channels typically handle significant political events. For instance, even the Prime Minister’s speeches are often limited to brief segments, suggesting a selective bias in how airtime is allocated. 

By choosing to broadcast Anvar's tirade in full, these channels risk normalizing inflammatory rhetoric and detracting from more pressing issues that deserve public attention. This not only compromises the quality of news reporting but also erodes trust in media as an impartial source of information. 

The public deserves a media landscape that prioritizes accountability and integrity over sensationalism, ensuring that all voices are represented fairly and responsibly.

The argument that anatomy cannot be studied without cadavers is false. Because in an era where medical ethics sometimes seem to prioritize surgery over patient care, there are numerous alternative methods for studying human anatomy.

Key alternatives mentioned include:

 * Virtual Reality: Virtual anatomy tools provide more lifelike views of organs than embalmed cadavers, allowing students to examine organs from all angles.

 * Prosections: These are preserved specimens dissected by experts.

 * Medical Imaging: Techniques like CT and MRI scans can create 3D cinematic renderings.

 * Ultrasound: Ultrasound scanning is a method for studying body structure.

 * Live Models and Simulated Models: These can be used to teach anatomy.

 * Body Painting: Body painting is another method for teaching anatomy.

 * 3D Printing: 3D printing can be used to teach anatomy.

 * Electronic Bodies: Electronic bodies can be used to teach anatomy.

 * Drawing: Drawing can be used to teach anatomy.

Some medical schools have already moved away from cadaver dissection, adopting a prosection-based learning model or a fully virtual approach. With timely updates, the need for cadavers in medical education in India can be eliminated. This would also eliminate the need for families to donate the bodies of their deceased loved ones to medical colleges, thereby avoiding potential legal issues and threats. 

In short  the use of cadavers in medical education is outdated and that there are more effective and humane alternatives available.

On one hand, the excise authorities are taking a firm stand against the sale of toddy to school students during Onam celebrations, citing the Kerala Abkari Act to protect young people from alcohol consumption. On the other hand, influential political figures like EP Jayarajan openly promote toddy as a health drink, encouraging its daily consumption. 

This duality raises eyebrows: how can a beverage be both a dangerous substance for minors and a healthy addition to one’s diet? 

The lack of accountability from LDF members regarding Jayarajan's remarks further complicates the matter, revealing a troubling inconsistency in the party's stance on alcohol.

Moreover, the irony extends to the broader cultural context. While the government takes action against underage drinking, the same political leaders who advocate for the drink seem unfazed by the public displays of revelry often fueled by toddy.

These street dances, perhaps perceived as harmless celebrations, are emblematic of a selective approach to alcohol regulation. If toddy is indeed a health drink, as claimed, then why are the authorities cracking down on its sale to young people? 

The entire scenario feels less like a serious public health initiative and more like a farcical play, where the script keeps changing depending on who’s on stage.

Instead of focusing on the grassroots development of sports, which could benefit a larger section of the population, this initiative appears to prioritize spectacle over substance. 

The government must reconsider its approach and prioritize sustainable investments that foster long-term growth and well-being for all citizens rather than chasing fleeting opportunities for fame or prestige.

The tragic landslide in Wayanad serves as a stark reminder of the potential disasters that can arise from unchecked quarrying activities. This incident should compel the government to reassess its approach to mining permissions, as the risks to both human life and the environment far outweigh any economic benefits.

Moreover, the government’s decision to expand quarry operations, particularly in ecologically sensitive regions, reflects a troubling disregard for community welfare and ecological integrity. Illegal mining activities have already demonstrated their capacity to destabilize landscapes and compromise the safety of local populations.

By issuing more quarry licenses, the government  undermines regulatory frameworks. It  also signals a lack of accountability towards the environmental degradation and community displacement.

 It is imperative for policymakers to adopt a more cautious and responsible stance, prioritizing sustainable practices that safeguard both the environment and the lives of residents.
