#Disgrace to political culture
The incident of black flagging against Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and Minister O.J. Janeesh's public justification that it was an organizational decision, is highly condemnable and a violation of political etiquette.
It is completely undemocratic and unheard of for a person who has taken oath as per the Constitution and is serving in the state cabinet to depute people under the protection of his official position to protest against the Union Minister. Such trends that blur the boundaries between constitutional positions and political interests pose a great threat to the federal system and constitutional etiquette of the country.
Official support for violent politics and protest movements by those in responsible positions will only lead to breakdown of law and order and political conflicts in the state. Instead of democratic debates and policy discussions, black flagging and protests are being organized with the connivance of the rulers themselves is a disgrace to the general political culture of Kerala.
