#If Kerala is to be saved ....?
A strong move by the BJP is essential to put an end to the Left government that has trapped Kerala in debt and the Congress politics that is supporting it.
The government that has pushed the state into a huge debt of Rs 6.5 lakh crore and the Congress that is feasting at the national level as part of the 'Indi' alliance despite expressing opposition are two sides of the same coin.
The statements made by leaders like K. Muraleedharan to stop the growth of the BJP are mere political bankruptcy. The core of the change we are seeing today is not the importing of people from other parties, but the common people of Kerala, who are fed up with the current misrule, embracing the BJP based on their own convictions.
People have realized that the BJP should come to power to save Kerala by eliminating the Left-Congress fronts that are mired in corruption and nepotism. Not only will the illusion of pushing the BJP to third place not materialize, but the people themselves will sweep away the old political styles that have brought about developmental stagnation and economic collapse.
No alliances that divide the people with the aim of vote bank can stop the BJP's popular advance. Kerala now wants a new political order led by the BJP to ensure development from the people and transparent governance.
