The
Mathrubhumi News Channel has accomplished its birth rationale, that is, the end
of present CPM in Kerala, with an exclusive interview with party veteran V S Achuthanandan.
Achuthanandan in the interview said he was ousted from the politburo, where he had served for 24 years, for
standing with the truth that corruption had taken place in Lavlin dealings. The
repercussion in the party would be far reaching and may lead to an immediate
collapse of the party. The central committee member T M Thomas Isaac has taken
a safe stance by disowning VS while the Secretaries of the State and Central
Committees of the party are in no hurry to impede the course.
A tough
time waits for Karat and coterie in the party.
