Blow to CBI

It may be a setback to the anti-corruption campaign of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), the CBI court sentencing former party president, Bangaru Laxman, to four years of imprisonment and a fine of a Rs 1-lakh This is only a tip of the ice-berg as many leaders of all political parties in the country are involved in similar crimes.
I mean the sentence will have an all-India impact. The court’s decision will affect all the political parties across the country.

However, Laxman73  need not be afraid of jail term if he prefers a prison in Kerala where the law prohibits to put a person above the age of 75 in prison. The remaining two years can be smoothly sailed over by appeal and further court proceedings!
