It was a big news for Malayalam channels when two Italian media persons were interrogated by Kerala police for video graphing the premises of the Court, hearing the case related to the killing of two Indian fishermen by the Italian marines off Kollam Coast on February 15. What is the big mistake in photographing the court premise when everything inside and outside the country is available on Google Earth. Perhaps the Italians sought an easy way to collect the data.
The firing incident in the sea is, of course, a tragic incident but the way in which the Government of India and the Italian counter parts handle it is clumsy. The State Government of Kerala playing a super country in the whole episode is of dire standing. Instead of Italy, if it were US or China the whole picture would have been different. I presume the Italians are more peace loving than any other men in the world.
