Corruption in Armed Force.

Army Chief General V.K. Singh's revelation that he was offered a bribe of Rs.14 crore is shocking in one aspect that he disclosed the matter to the public.. The bribing lobbyist is not of new origin as it was heard from Bofors to coffin deal. The unaudited accounts of the Armed Force are a reason for the widespread corruption in that sector.

I don’t think that the present CBI probe would give any substantial evidence as this investigating agency is always under rigorous pressure from top bureaucrats and political big heads. The Defence Minister A K Antony as Chief Minister of Kerala has done no wonders and likewise his action against corrupt practice in the Army is also would turn out as a question of wait and see.

A major evidence of corruption in the Armed Force is; most often the sons and daughters of the Army Officials are often recruited to new posts Army while those youngsters with no godfathers are often ignored saying they are “less patriotic”. And if got recruited by mere luck that are only to lower ranks.
