Seemingly the Kerala Marxists are busy reading the famous work ‘Life of Christ “by Bishop Fulton J Sheen after the poster row in connection with their State summit. And it is the season for Kerala Marxists to study the life and work of Jesus Christ. After M V Jayarajan and Pinarayi, veteran leader VS also came endorsing Jesus.
However, trouble follows them and the latest is the row over a look alike picture of Jesus Christ's The Last Supper. No doubt the picture is controversial as it showed US President Barack Obama in the centre flanked by "disciples" Sonia Gandhi, Manmohan Singh, Narendra Modi, Rahul Gandhi, L.K. Advani, Oommen Chandy and even AK Antony. No doubt the Marxist party has hurt the sentiments of believers and owes an apology to the believers.
The CPM state secretary Pinarayi Vijayan’s statement that party workers have no role in preparing the posters is an insult to its cadres. If son of God Jesus is their new pathfinder, do Marxists endorse the God Himself?
