No life without channels?

The Additional Director General of Police, who enquired into the phone conversations made by R Balakrisna Pillai had reported that action must be taken against both Pillai and the channel reporter for their illegal conversation. So action has been initiated against Pillai extending his jail term for another four days. However, the Chief Ninister has decided to take no action against the reporter. Interestingly the reporter who intentionally dragged Pillai into the controversy was spared by the CM. Is reporter dearer to Chandy than Pillai.

This is something that cannot be endorsed as it is a direct insult to the rule of the land and a disregard to the report of ADGP. Why do the CM and other politicians fear that much about the Channel Reporters? Would they spoil their political living? Of late, in Kerala, the Malayalam News Channels rule the roast. What they call their ‘sting operation’ is a non-sense. The mindset of the politicians that they have no future life without these channels should end.

The ministers and politicians who spend hours and hours by running from channel to channel should think that their effort is more meaningful if they pour two pots of water to a plantain at their residence. And think that there is life without the channels.
