Election setback to Congress

It is really a washout for Congress in the election to one Lok Sabha and three assembly seats across four states. The loss in Hisar Lok Sabha seat in Haryana reflected national public mood. However, the Congress would not learn lessons from it. The Congress core committee now going to analyse the debacle would turn into a farce because their finding should be in the manner: People didn’t vote, hence lost’.

What the Congress has to do is: it should take action to control rising prices and corruption and identify the growing disappointment of the public towards the Congress government. Though, the Congress claim that Anna campaign has not turned the tables in Hisar the fact is in the reverse. The innumerable youths associated with Anna indicate that the vast section of the society is against Congress party-sponsored prevalent corruption.
