After much hullaballoo it has been made clear that
selection to deputy CM in Kerala would turn out to be an act of hen’s breast
feeding. It would never happen. UDF convenor P P Thankachan said there was no consensus
reached in deciding the deputy chief minister after a series of discussions. In the next and further UDF meets this issue would
not be taken up for discussion.
The whole episode indicates that all progress made by
Chennithala with his Kerala yathra has gone ashtray. Nevertheless, he could
conveniently use 50 crore rupees collected by way donation during the
journey. It is almost convinced that
there would be only talks and talks and the post of deputy CM would remain vacant.
