F Lawrence is the real loser

Every election is money spending exercise for all candidates even if they are sponsored by political parties. A candidate has to spend not less than ten lakh rupees from his pocket alone for the election and the candidate F Lawrence of Neyyattinkara is no exception. Nevertheless, he is the real loser in the context of severe in fight between rivals in his party.

Lawrence,  a former local leader of the Kerala Congress (J) which merged with the Kerala Congress (M) two years back to become an ally of the UDF, is the LDF’s candidate contesting in the official CPI(M) symbol. As the Left cadres are under shock wave resulted by the brutal murder of TP Chandrasekharan, there is all the possibility for a severe setback for LDF candidate. When UDF project TP’s killing as the latest example of the Marxian vengeance F Lawrence has no way out other than to lose. He is the real loser.
