Part of Political Culture
Minister Adv. Bindu Krishna's visit to Vellappally Natesan should be evaluated in the context of community consensus and social realities beyond political controversies.
It is a normal democratic process for a public representative or leader to visit prominent personalities and community leaders of the society they represent. Political differences or distance between parties should not be a barrier to such social meetings. Visiting the home of a prominent community leader like Vellappally Natesan can only be seen as part of personal relationships or social gatherings.
In a democratic society, there is little point in unnecessarily politicizing and criticizing such visits; rather, it should be understood as part of mutual respect, open debate and a healthy political culture.
