The greatest betrayal by K M Mani for his last wish to become the Chief Minister of Kerala has ended in despair as CPM and CPI backtracked from their earlier deposition. It was also a desire for S Ramachandran Pillai to assume the apex post which would very likely occur if Mani leaves the picture because of unforeseen reason.
SRP coteries attributing secular credentials to Mani is very interesting. However, detractors of SRP value an immediate election to incur a huge financial loss to the State. The voters of the State should strongly object this nudge.
