Rice politics in Kerala

Rs 1-2 rice politics in Kerala is unwise and an unfriendly decision
by both leading political fronts in Kerala. It is only a political
gimmick. This I say not because of institutions like Centre for
Monitoring Indian Economy (CMIE) rank the state as the first among
Indian states in terms of per capita household income but because of
the sky rocketed price of all commodities. Will the government supply
people cloth, medicine, liquor and other essential commodities at
subsidised rate? Rice is not the sole requirement of common people in
Kerala. They need good shelter, better clothing, hospital treatment,
proper education for their children and many others. When all, other
than the rice, cost much what is the excitement in supplying rice alone
at low cost.

Distribution of low priced rice may make more people diabetic and
remaining paddy fields in Kerala to disappear.

It is very true.

Oh don't worry Solomon, they're simply their decisions. We'll sleep before it comes true. Coz its only a dream.

If we terribly need some reforms in our politics, i think we need to have election every year. Four years is making the ones in power too lazy, they wait to reform till the end of their term.
