Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J. Jayalalithaa by demanding to allocate the entire 2,000 MW power to be generated by the two units at Kudankulam Nuclear Power Project (KNPP) to TN indicates her narrow mindedness and lack of concern about people outside TN. This sort of single handedness by political leaders would never take the country to progress.
Not only TN other states like Kerala are also facing acute power shortage and it would therefore be right and justified if the power to be generated from the Koodankulam Nuclear Power Plant is shared among other states. TN is sharing water from Kerala and if some power produced in TN to is given to Kerla where load-shedding prevails, it would be a helping hand to the state.
