The Politburo member Sitaram Yetchury hailed Achuthananadan, who was denied berth in the PB, as a revolutionary leader with a rich legacy. Achuthanandan had played a major role in the building the party in the country and in the state according him. The CPM general secretary Karat said the party congress gave a special consideration for Achuthanandan and he would continue to play a major role in the party and the legislature.
Obviously, the words of these leaders point out that with Achuthanandan boycotting the valedictory function of the party congress at Kozhikode, they identified the fire on their seats. The leaders are seen much vexed. Aren’t they?
