Well, it looks like Congress is adopting a classic "shoot for the stars, land on the moon" strategy. With their ambitious promise to reserve 50 percent of central government jobs for women, they are clearly aiming to go beyond the moon and straight into the cosmos. But alas, their journey may look more like a crash landing than a triumphant landing.

With poll experts generously estimating a Congress victory of just 40 seats, one can't help but wonder if they plan to run the government from a comfortable studio. Perhaps they intend to win the hearts of the electorate with promises so grandiose that even reality takes a backseat. Who needs a majority in Parliament when you have promises big enough to mask the lack of seats?

It's like showing a hen waiting to breastfeed her chicks.
