According to data released by the government, vegetables became 28.89 per cent costlier on a year-on-year basis, while pulses grew dearer by 11.65 per cent, fruits by 11.63 per cent and milk by 11.73 per cent. The food inflation has soared dangerously to a nine-month high of 12.21 per cent. There is no break from rising prices of commodities. And now oil companies again hiked petrol prices by Rs 1.8 per litre turning life of common people more miserable.
No doubt, the people of India lost faith in Manmohan Singh Government.
