Central Chronicle Editorial Posted On Tuesday, March 15, 2011
It is undesirable to come heavily on Kerala veterans fighting in the election. Old age is not a curse but a boon. The seventy plus 'youngsters' should understand that they will also become old once. K.R. Gowri Amma going to contest the election is a bone contention for many. Gouri Amma speaks more clearly and plainly than those criticizing her. Her stand in every aspect is understandable whereas her detractors lack that intelligibility.
Elder people are blessings of God's own country and they stimulate others to chase their life. Elder people contesting election gives positive energy to all. They should be respected not only in households but in political circles also.
