The continuing controversy involving IPL Commissioner Lalit Modi and former Union Minister Shashi Tharoor has smeared the image of the rich man’s game- the cricket. Whitening black money and speculative business are the key issues of the IPL and hence it should be banned in India. Who will have to earn more money-Modi, Tharoor or else who is the prime subject behind the IPL controversy. The Left parties, Siva Sena , Janatha Dal and many others have favoured the ban of IPL. The black money-rich IPL has brought notoriety to the country and spoiled the work hours of many. It also ruined the study time of innumerable students preparing for their qualifying examinations. The corrupt ministers, officials, call girls etc are conglomerated in this grimy IPL of match fixing.
A thorough investigation into the wealth of ministers, actors, businessmen, spicy girls, and even widows who have pumped in and pumped out huge amount of money through IPL franchisees should be immediately made. IPL is an extravagance unsuited to the culture of Indian Nationality.
