‘Delhi nair’ prefers Krishna to Rama
Sir,
Tilottama, Christa and Sunanda- who are they? They are the women associated with our Minister of States for External Affairs, Mr. Shashi Tharoor. Tharoor when landed at Thiruvananthapuram as a ‘dhothi cladded Delhi nair’for contesting in the last election to the Parliament, people believed that he was a fine gentleman suited to Indian heritage as his face resembled a TV screen Sri Raman and women in plenty voted for him. Nevertheless when became a minister in the Central cabinet he started exhibiting his western culture. He hated the cattle class travel and preferred to stay in star hotel. This UN returned bureaucrat created much head-ache to Manmohan Singh and the Congress High Command was in a desperate bid to start a control room to contain the troubles created by this minister. This predicament has culminated with he now going to marry Sunanda, a Kashmiri girl, a trained beautician. Sunanda would be Shashi Tharoor’s third wife.
News sources say that the marriage is likely to take place after Tharoor and his current wife, Christa Giles, complete their divorce. Christa is Tharoor’s second wife. Prior to this he had married to academic Tilottama Mukherji, whom he knew from his school days in Kolkata.
Will Tharoor stop with this or prefer to enact a Krishna than Rama?
