High reaction for Women Reservation Bill

The Women Reservation Bill has received an awe-inspiring reponse in and around the country. People from all walks of life have welcomed it. There were support from BJP and the Left parties to the Congress. The implication is that they can again unite in key matters in future too. All women leaders and the PM Dr Manmohan Singh deserve credit for passing the bill. The impediments put against passing the Bill by parties like RJD, SP and a section of the JD (U) are condemnable. Mamata Banerjee should learn more about the bill. It is distasteful to see a woman from the treasury bench standing against the women.
