The LDF Government in Kerala has decided to go down from its plan to make Big B the tourism brand ambassador Kerala on silly grounds. Kodiyeri’s praise for Big B last week has become hollow. It is wonderful to see that not Kodiyeri but Yetchury decides Kerala Tourism matters.
Though Bachchan’s gaze may be different from that of average malayali it is quite unwarranted in welcoming him first and then denying the offer. The Kerala Government must have mulled over well before approaching Bachchan for the mighty job.
Amitha Bachchan keeps clean image after he left the Congress party and he is unmoved by any poltical tribulations. He sees Modi and Kodiyeri with the same amity and even corrects Thackeray. Is Thackeray a friend of CPM? What the Kerla Tourism promoters lack is the meaning the saying
“A man’s word is his bond. Never go back on your word.”
