#Political Anarchy
The recent actions of the SFI in Kerala University represent a blatant attack on democratic values, campus autonomy, and the rule of law. The forceful entry of SFI activists close to the Vice Chancellor’s chamber is not student activism, it is outright vandalism and hooliganism.
By accusing the Governor of "saffronising" campuses while turning educational institutions into political strongholds painted in red, SFI exposes its own hypocrisy. Their declaration that the VC will not be allowed to enter the university is not only unconstitutional but also signals an alarming trend of mob rule overtaking academic spaces. If student bodies start dictating terms to constitutional authorities, then the very fabric of governance and education is under serious threat.
What is even more disturbing is the inaction of the Kerala police, which suggests complicity or pressure from higher-ups in the state government. Where is the Home Minister? Who is accountable for this lawlessness? When police stand as silent spectators to a violent mob storming university offices, the message is clear: the state machinery has surrendered to the political will of a student union.
This situation demands immediate intervention from the Central Government. The Governor, the Vice Chancellor, and the sanctity of the University must be protected through Central forces if the state fails to uphold its constitutional responsibilities. It is time to dismantle this political anarchy before it completely erodes Kerala’s academic integrity and civil order.
