Mumbai is again under terrorist threat. Explosions at four places killing at least 17 persons and injuring about 81 persons are shocking It was in November 26, 2008 Wednesday terrorist attack in Mumbai killed 100 people and injured many. It is indicative of the inefficacy of the country’s intelligence network. It was then Deccan Mujahideen behind the attacks and those terrorist behind present serial blasts are yet to be identified.
It is high time we ban all communal outfits in the country. We need tougher laws and an iron hand to deal with terrorism. Our security and intelligence agencies need dramatic improvement in order to make sure such attacks never happen again. These explosions also indicate that the efficacy of our intelligence system has not improved much from that in 2008.
