Not much tears for M F Husain.
(M F Husain's Bharath Matha painting)
The great artist M F Husain passed away at 95. Since he was not an Indian citizen now, there is not much tear for him inside the country. His love for female body is infamous and he portrayed Hindu goddess Saraswati in a nasty way hurting the feelings of many believers. He conjured himself as a secularist free spirit and found time to mock Hindu gods leaving behind the fundamentalist concept of his religion. While pretending as a true Indian he saw no ilk in getting citizen ship in Qatar. The man who brought fame for modern Indian art could have been more sensitive while cornering film actress like Madhuri Dixit saying that she is epitome of female beauty. It was really an insult to all world women prettier than Dixit. The old man's findings were then treated as insensible.
M.F. Husain bid farewell from our midst not much wept. Possibly may be due to the sort of whimsical fancies of the great artist.
