The hapless woman here is Ramlath, wife of Tamil film actor-choreographer Prabhu Deva and the oasis in desert for him is Nayanthara, an unmarried woman from Malayalam tinsel world who conquered Tamil film world. It may be true that actress and actor were doing a wedded life without marrying publically, nevertheless the pain that caused to Ramlath is far beyond any reckon.
The actor and actress have many well-wishers inside the country and outside and if the proposed ‘marriage in public’ materializes it will turn out as a matter of huge shame or both and they will be soon out from the tinsel world. Malayalis’ angel will likely to become devil among Tamilian households.
Nayanthara should understand pain that would have caused to Prabhu Deva’s wife Ramlath. Perhaps she may in the brink of utter despair as she could not judge what incident caused her more sorrow- the cancer death of her elder child or the merciless betrayal of her ‘faithful’ husband. Nayanthara should assume a Ramlath for a moment and contemplate if she could.
