Red carpets for terrorists?

Congress MP Shashi Tharoor has made a controversy by coming against the execution of criminals. He said " cold blooded execution has not prevented terror attack any where". Does he mean that terrorists are to be welcomed with red carpet to end terrorism?

Tharoor is a suspect in the death of his third wife Sunanda Pushkar. He is likely to face gallows if enquiry is made in the right direction. If capital punishment is avoided he could live happily in the prison for rest of his life with five star hospitality.

More condemnable is the CPM act of coming against execution of hard core criminals saying that the Government stance is against a particular religion. It is objectionable to come against the SC verdict  just for a handful of communal votes

Significant question

The CPM leader Pinarayi Vijayan's attempt to woo communal leader Vellappally Natesan by sending party's Alappuzha District Secretary Saji Cheriyan to Kanichukulangara misfired. The Yogam Secretary now feels happy in Delhi with BJP President Amit Shah.
While CPM stand puzzled over eroding of sand under their feet the UDF wonder why Vellappally took a politically insignificant stand when he 'worked hard' for the victory of its candidate in Aruvikkara.
Nevertheless, how many of the Ezhava community members hear Vellappally's dictate is the more significant question.

The Next President- Repost

Not one alone, many online surveys say that Dr.APJ Abdul Kalam is the most suitable presidential candidate and he can give us something new as always. Thanks to UPA allies, Samajwadi Party, Trinamool Congress and the AIADMK to support the former President Dr Kalam for the presidential post. APJ Abdul Kalam has been the most educative, inspiring and productive President and is quite apolitical. He is the most popular person to replace Pratibha Patil.

Born as son of a boatman he became India’s missile man with his hard work and finally reached Rashrarpati Bhavan. It was truly a stimulation for whole generation of the country. The picture of Kalam leaving the Rashtrapati Bhavan with only two suit-cases after playing his first inning as president of India is an inspiring one. He had malice to none when denied opportunity for a consecutive term in the Rashtrapti Bhavan.

We must understand that nowhere in the world this top scientist has to go through unwanted. And with his versatile talent he could take India to high esteem. With Dr Kalam in the presidential chair every citizen of India feel that a caring family member or a true friend is in the Rashtrapati Bhavan.
