Who is hollow man?

There is a point in arguing that the Kerala Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau has fallen prey in the hands of some unwitting advisors of the UDF Government by probing the so-called inappropriate land allotment done by V S Achuthanandan ministry. Is an ex-service man, though a distant relative of Chief Minister, not eligible for a benefit from the government? Doesn’t a ministry owe such power to allot land to the deserving ones? If not, with what authority the present Chief spend crores by way of his mass contact programme? It is quite unkind to draw in and thus insult a soldier who has spent prime of his life for the country.

Further, the land allotment is not something like siphoning money as done in Lavalin or what else. The ‘inappropriate’ land is there and if it is issued improperly the government can take away it. The KPCC President calling VS Ahuthanandan a ‘hollow man’ would have looked in advance on a mirror to see the real hollow man.

The present politically motivated probe would end up in disgrace for the UDF ministry.
