'Vidyarambham' by politicians
Now only
I understood the reason for the high rate of growth of quotation gangs in Kerala. The politicians including those criminals involved in sex racket also are performing the rituals of Vijaya Dashami by writing on the tongues of the tiny tots that enter into the world of letters. As none keep the record of the future education of these children, all educationalists were replaced by hard core politicians to write on the tongue of the children on Vidyarambam. The net result is the fast growth of criminals without proper education. It is a scene where uneducated MLAs perform composition classes in schools replacing educated teachers whether permanent or guest.
Vidyarambham- the traditional Hindu ritual to initiate tiny tots to learn the alphabet is now performed by Christian clergies too uninformed by the importance of Saraswati pooja. And in that respect, the Muslim pundits keep a more vivid view than Christian clergies as they do not resort to Vidyarambam.
On Vidyarambam day Hindus worship Goddess Saraswati, the index of knowledge, music and arts. And the Christian politicians performing Vidyarambam then worship whom? The culprits whom to be really blamed are not these uncaring politicians performing Viduyarambam but the parents who bring children before them by spending thousands. Everything has become a marketable merchandise.
