The recent protests by the Congress party about police high-handedness, custodial torture, and corruption have created a lot of concern in the State. Many incidents of mistreatment of people at police stations have come to light through social media and news channels.
Some of these wrongdoings are said to be supported by the ruling government. Such acts of cruelty against innocent citizens must be stopped and corrected. The police are meant to protect people and maintain law and order, so they must treat everyone fairly and with respect.
At the same time, police officers face difficult situations every day. They have to deal with criminals, robbers, and rowdies who disturb peace. In such cases, the police cannot always act gently like helpers. Sometimes they must be strict to control troublemakers and protect society. But it is important for them to know the difference between innocent people and wrongdoers.
With proper training and guidance, police can handle such situations wisely. We should appreciate their hard work and bravery in keeping our communities safe. Hope they continue to serve with courage, fairness, and understanding.
