Chasing Shadows

#Chasing #Shadows
The Kerala Crime Branch seems to have found a new hobby of chasing shadows instead of criminals. With no complaint, no petitioner, and no case file worth reading, they proudly march behind gossip, as if abortion reports in Bengaluru hospitals were the missing piece in solving Kerala’s crime puzzle.

Perhaps the next step is to raid maternity wards and question nurses about who sneezed during surgery. While drug mafias and gold smugglers enjoy their evening tea, our police are busy polishing their magnifying glasses to investigate “whispers” that even the women themselves chose not to share.

And what about the minister guiding this drama? He appears like a stage manager of a village play, whispering orders from behind the curtain while the police dance like puppets. Instead of protecting citizens from real threats, they script soap operas with half-baked scandals as the main plot.

Kerala deserves policemen, not stand-up comedians in uniform. If this continues, we may soon see a new Crime Branch department known as “Department of Rumours and Channel Gossips.”
