#Misleading
Minister Veena George's recent statement about not being granted permission to meet Union Health Minister JP Nadda is both misleading and an insult to the intelligence of Keralites. Her attempt to shift blame for her failure to address the ASHA workers' strike by claiming she wasn't allowed to meet Nadda is a clear evasion of responsibility.
The official process of seeking permission for such meetings is well-known, and George’s failure to adhere to this process suggests either incompetence or dishonesty. Instead of prioritizing the health workers and their grievances, she appears to have been more interested in welcoming Cuban delegates, a move that highlights her misplaced priorities.
This revelation only adds to the growing disillusionment with her handling of key health issues in Kerala.
