#Media #trial crossed all limits
India's Supreme Court rejecting the Kerala government's plea to extend the trial in the actress attack case, is welcome. Otherwise, this case would have been prolonged indefinitely to divert ordinary people's attention from all the burning issues of the state.
Lately, it is a habit of the channels in Kerala to force people to move around issues involving sex and violence. The nun rape case and the actress assault case are examples. The hours that these channels have spent on these soap operas are far beyond any calculation. The recent Additional Session Court verdict put nun rape case in the ashtray. Then, the channels began to overbroadcast the case of the attack on the actress.
The general public has become too anxious about stupid issues of sex and violence. Households have become pornographic cinemas created by channels
By not prolonging the trial of the actress' assault case, the court has saved Kerala households from the current ugly channel affairs. The media trial of the actress' assault case has crossed all limits
