Fire chain protest

The CPM is known for its novel protests like hartal,  human wall,  human chain, fire chain or what else. The latest fire chain protest is an original one and I appreciate it  not because of Achuthanandan’s wife prepared ‘payasam’, Pinaray’s wife cooked ‘kappa puzhukku, M A Baby’s wife ‘mathikkari’ or G Sudhakaran’s wife  boiled pipe water. It was a figurative remonstration against the hike in cooking gas price and the government move to curtail ration subsidy. Some sort of protest is absolutely necessary against the wrong policies of the UPA Government. The drastic cut in subsidised LPG cylinders to households and government move to cut ration subsidy is a blow to common man.

The protest participated by more than three  lakh people is an eye-opener to the Central Government who play hide and seek with oil refining companies.
