It is promising
to see the Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi taking up the scheme to clean
the country. Modi has absolutely kept a tally over his predecessors by initiating
this campaign and making many celebrities join his drive for a noble cause. Though
politically in opposite pole, the CPM leaders in Kerala like T M Thomas Isaac
MLA has followed the footprints of Modi by starting his clean campaign in a
school toilet in Alappuzha.
We often are
pleased about western countries for their hygiene and of course leaders
returning after a visit to Singapore and similar places have mouthful to say
about cleanliness, but often they do not
bother to realise the people to keep the streets clean . It is our primary duty
to maintain a clean atmosphere not only in our homes but also in streets.
We should
also have neat toilets on the road side and see that people are actually using them.
Our children should also made to understand the value of a clean surroundings.
