It all seems to be a lucrative business for the Kerala state government. A government order setting the rates for treatment packages for post-COVID complications for patients with APL in government hospitals is one indication. The government previously said COVID care would be free for everyone in government hospitals.
There are many educational institutions in Kerala which appoint teachers without any donation. Many of them have changed this policy now. The reason is that the new generation has lost values and all philanthropic men are dead and gone. The same goes with the current government
At a time when people struggle to survive the economic devastation of COVID, alongside the ravages of the disease itself, the government forgoing free healthcare is ruthless.
